Lost Library of the Druids¶
The party has made their way to the lost library of the druids. If they succeed, they will be able to prevent the knowledge and artifacts here from falling into cult hands.
New to Town¶
The party needs to find their way down into the ruins and to the lost library. Depending upon the skills of the party, this could be straightforward or very difficult.
Three Challenges¶
The party will meet the current caretaker of the library, an old elven druid who is near death. The library has been his charge since the city was destroyed, but the strain of maintaining the magic has been too great for him, and the library sent out messages and dreams in an effort to find a new caretaker.
He Who Dreams will have the opportunity to participate in three challenges, one each of plants, animals, and nature, and if he succeeds, the library will accept him as the new caretaker.
Getting Started¶
It is not immediately clear which of the tasks the party will pursue first. The initial choices of the party will shape future content.
Lycanthropy Cure¶
The party decided to approach the old dorms and caves. This part of the library has the werbats, which the party encountered.
After two members contracted lycanthropy, the party started working on a cure. In order to create this cure, the party needs to gather ingredients and spend several days brewing the potions. The werbats in the library would like to get access to this cure at any cost.
Brewing¶
The party has agreed to brew the Lycanthropy for the warebats. This will take several days, so there is the question of what the party will do while the cure is brewing.
Cloakers¶
The cloakers have trapped several cult members in a cave where some critical ingredients are located.
Dragon¶
The party has plans on how to remove the enchanted sword from the skull of the emerald dragon.
Ceremony¶
The party has several opportunities to gain information and complete side tasks during this session. The exact content of the session will depend upon the party, but the session will end in He Who Dreams joining the druidic circle.
